Big Profits)&lt;\/a&gt;&lt;img src=\" target=\"_blank\">The Little Book of Economics<\/a> is little:\u00a0 just 250 pages, lots of white space, lots of excerpts duplicated in highlight boxes and a little book, physically.\u00a0 Reading the book did help me cement some of the definitions and concepts from <a title=\"RAHF review of Naked Economics\" href=\"http:\/\/relaxandhavefun.com\/?p=685\" target=\"_blank\">Naked Economics<\/a>, but I found the Little Book aspect annoying.\u00a0 That said, <a title=\"Ip's homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/gregip.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Greg Ip<\/a> is a good writer and I will use the book as a reference for simple explanations of economics concepts.\u00a0 It was published very recently and is therefore under-reviewed at this point (I tried this time at least!); Ip&#8217;s book did garner several nice blurbs from economics heavy-weights like Burton Malkiel, Robert Reich and Greg Mankiw.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Little Book of Economics<\/span> is well-written, and little; if you&#8217;re going to read just one book on entry-level economics though, I&#8217;d still vote for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Naked Economics<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I picked this next economics book based on Amazon reviews and the fact that the author writes for The Economist.
